Ronald E. Jones Sr.

Ronald Eugene Jones, 76, of Windsor, New Jersey, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018.  He was born August 27, 1942 in Connellsville, a son of the late Raymond and Catherine (Jones) Trice.  He was a member of St. Gregory the Great.  Ronald retired from Southern Container in Dayton, New Jersey.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching the Steelers and going to his hunting camp up North.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Ronald Jones Jr., a daughter‐in‐law Kelly Jones, and his brothers Robert Trice, Wayne Trice, Vernon Trice and Gregory Trice.  He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Patricia Jones, sons Douglas, Jeffery and wife Bridget (Holnaider) Jones, grandchildren Debra, Jeffery, Kyle, Carly and Giovanna, sister Josephine Trice, brothers Kenneth Trice, Ronald Trice and wife Carol, John Trice and wife Linda, Larry Trice and wife Phyllis, Clifford Trice, Barry Trice, Bradford Trice and wife Louise, Glenn Trice and wife Marsha, Ray Trice and wife Michele, aunt Annabelle Zimmerman and husband Raymond, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ronald was loved very much and will be missed forever. Funeral arrangements will be handled by FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier Street, Latrobe, where family and friends will be received from 9-10 a.m. Saturday.  A funeral service will be conducted by Father Thomas Curry in the funeral home at 10 a.m.  Inurnment will follow at St. Paul Reform Cemetery, Trauger, PA. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
