Phyllis M. (McIntyre) Ross

Phyllis (McIntyre) Ross, 85, of Latrobe, passed away Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at Barnes Place, Latrobe. She was born April 11, 1933, in Fairchance, Pa., to the late Oliver H. McIntyre and Frances (Weimer) Doherty. She was a retired bookkeeper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Ross, in 2002; and two brothers, J.C. McIntyre and James Doherty. She is survived by four children, Rebecca Monkress and her husband, Thomas, of Skiatook, Okla., Joseph G. Ross and his wife, Sharon, of Pasadena, Texas, Kimberly McKee and her husband, Troy, of Mishawaka, Ind., and Wendy S. DiSabato, of Derry; six grandchildren, Luke, Matthew and his wife Dayna, Aaron and his wife Abby, Nina, Ryan and T.J.; four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert Doherty, of Georgia. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018, at  FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018, at Frederick Funeral Home Inc., with Elder Thomas Monkress officiating. Burial will be in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
