William E. Bush, Sr

William E. Bush Sr., 88, of Latrobe, died Thursday, April 6, 2006, at home. He was born Aug. 12, 1917, in Bradenville, son of the late Lawrence W. and Lula Simms Bush. He was a retired machinist for Standard Steel and he was a member of the Latrobe United Methodist Church. He is survived by five sons, William and wife Barbara, and Dale and wife Sonja, all of Latrobe, John and wife Arley, Derry, Glenn and wife Jeannine, Latrobe, Don and wife Karen, Acme; two daughters, Jo Ann Blasko and husband Mike, Derry, and Lola Nalevanko and husband John, Crabtree; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marcella Dickson, Pittsburgh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Paul David; wife, Laura Belle Bush; brothers, Ralph, Lawrence, and Cecil; five sisters, Lillian Wingard, Leora Dickson, Rachael Sabota, Genevieve Hughes and Anna May Jones. Funeral services were held Monday at the Frederick Funeral Home Inc., Latrobe, with the Rev. Aimee W. Twigg officiating. Burial was in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
