Victoria A. Ross

It is with a heavy heart, we announce the sudden passing of Victoria A. Ross (Nemcheck) on March 31, 2026, at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, PA.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Krystle Ross; and father, Anthony "Tony" Nemcheck Sr.

Vickie is survived by her daughter, Cassie Ross and her husband, Derek; her fiancé, Sam Ashbaugh and his lovely family; and granddaughters, Aleissa Gunter and Aria Bouza.

She is also survived by her mother, Evelyn Nemckeck (Metz); her siblings, Mark Nemcheck Sr. and his wife, Kim, Lorie Malik and her husband, Dave, Tony Nemcheck Jr. and his wife, Toni, and Sandy Couchenour and her husband, Rick; and by her several nieces and nephews.

Vickie was born on July 30, 1956, in Latrobe, PA and graduated from Latrobe High School. She then went on to earn an associate’s degree from Mount Aloysius College in 1979 and worked as a COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) for more than 40 years before retiring. She lived in Pittsburgh, PA for many years before returning home to Latrobe.

She was hardworking in her career, but even more so, she was loving and dedicated to her children. Vickie will be remembered by her daughter for her unconditional love and guidance as a mom who was always there in times of need. She will be remembered by her friends and family for her kindness and support, along with the smile she always had on her face. She really enjoyed living retirement life with her loving partner, Sam, who treated her “like a princess” (as Vickie would brag).

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
