Orie A. Clark

Orie A. Clark, 71, of Charlotte, N.C., formerly of Ligonier, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at Presbyterian Matthews Hospital. He was born Sept. 19, 1942, in New Florence, a son of the late Edgar A. Clark and Mabel (Hurt) Clark. He was a member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene and worked as a mechanic for the past 50 years. He was an avid Steelers and Nascar fan. He enjoyed old cars, old music and tinkering with cars with his son-in-law, Terry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John, Larry and Marlin; and sister, June. He is survived by his wife, Beth (Moore) Clark and family, of Charlotte, N.C.; sons, Edgar E. Clark (Maggie), of Ligonier, Mathew T. Clark (Rebecca), of Derry; and daughter, Beth Ann Crispin (Scott), of Latrobe; sister, Gladys and brother, Larry, both of New Bloomfield; and brother, Ed (Nancy) Clark, of Ligonier; grandchildren, Zacharia, Haley, MacKenzie and Aiden; great-grandchild, Alaya; numerous stepchildren, nephews and nieces.
