Mildred V. Beuten

August 2, 1928 — November 13, 2015

Mildred Verona (Hutchison) Beuten, of Youngstown, Pa., passed peacefully from this life Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. Born Aug. 2, 1928, Milli lived a full life here in the Youngstown Latrobe community, dedicating her years of service to Latrobe Steel Co. of which she was very proud. She enjoyed a precious marriage to Frank Beuten "Sonny" for 31 years, before he lost his battle with lung cancer in 1982. Milli spent her years living on the Beuten farm, planting her flowers, trees and shrubs which were so important to her, and loving the cherished home she and her husband built. Her piano, organ and record collection signify the part that music held in Milli's life. A fun-loving gal with lots of stories to tell, nothing pleased her more than shopping trips with her treasured sisters, Cora "Buggy" and Goldie, whom she loved dearly. Milli loved children and crafted for and donated to children's organizations for many years. She blessed many individuals during her long life with food, gifts and financial help as she strove to meet people's needs. Milli was preceded in death by her precious husband, Frank Edward Beuten; her father, George Hutchison; and her mother, Keziah Bishop Hutchison; her sister, Cora Rudnick; her brother-in-law, Richard Rudnick; and her sister-in-law, Marlyn Hutchison. She is survived by her sister, Goldie Johnson and husband, Ross; her brother, George Hutchison; a brother-in-law, Charles Beuten and wife, Vicky; and a sister-in-law, Alice Beuten. She also left behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The family is thankful for the part that the Excela Health IMU Department and Excela Health Home Care and Hospice played in her care during her final days. Their tenderness and love toward Milli and her family will long be remembered. A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at the FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650. In lieu of flowers, donations towards Excela Health Home Care and Hospice may be made. To send an online condolence, please visit www.FrederickFuneralHome.com.
