Michael David Konek Jr., 48, of Murrysville, PA, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home on May 14, 2026. His passing leaves his family and many lifelong friends saddened by a loss that came far too soon. Michael had a passion for riding and customizing motorcycles which brought him joy, speed, and freedom. He always lived life by his own rules. He had a green-thumb. He babied his pitbulls. He loved the wild landscapes and rugged coasts of Maine, where he lived for many years before returning back to where he grew up. Michael was known for being easy to talk to and fun to spend time with. His circle will remember him as a part of their lives from childhood through adulthood.Michael is survived by his father, Michael David Konek Sr., and his step‑mother, Joann; his sister, Jennifer Vogel, and her husband, his brother-in-law, Tom; his nephews Gabriel Vogel and Benjamin Vogel; and his niece Sasha Vogel. He was preceded in death by his mother, Adele Elaine.Michael’s memory will remain with his family and friends who knew and loved him.
