Marie C. Rupert, 86, of Latrobe (Derry Township), died Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, at Loyalhanna Care Center, Derry Township. She was born Jan. 15, 1927, in New Derry, a daughter of the late Harmon James and Anna M. (Dollar) James. She retired from Latrobe Area Hospital, working in housekeeping where she maintained the X-ray Department. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Rupert, in 2011; and a sister, Anna Schwalm. She is survived by a son, Richard E. Rupert and his wife, Shelly, of Latrobe; a daughter, Lois Hohula and her husband, John, of Loyalhanna; four grandchildren, Richard, Cristal, Angela and Dana; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, with the Trinity pastors officiating.
