Margaret L. (Sullenberger) Kopetsky

Margaret L. (Sullenberger) Kopetsky, 83, of Latrobe, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023, at Loyalhanna Care Center.  She was born Jan. 9, 1940, in Donahue, PA to the late Joseph and Blanch (Gordon) Sullenberger.  Margaret was retired fromTeamsters Local No. 30 and had worked for Mt. View Tourways and later for Edgewood Nursing Center in housekeeping.   In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Kopetsky Sr. - "Crusher John", seven brothers and three sisters.  She is survived by two children, John Kopetsky Jr. of Loyalhanna and Renee Koring (Bob) of Norvelt; four grandsons, Duane Kopetsky, Wade Kopetsky (Sasha), Patrick Koring  (Lindsey), and Clayton Koring (Jessica); three great grandsons, Gannon, Weston, and Rowan Koring.  Family and friends will be received Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Frederick Funeral Home Inc., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650, where a funeral service will take place Friday, Jan. 27, 2023, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tom Shrum officiating.  Interment will follow at Unity Cemetery, Latrobe, PA.  The family wishes to send their thanks to everyone from Bridges Hospice for all they did to make Margaret comfortable.  Memorial donations may be directed to the family.  To purchase flowers or send condolences please visit www.FrederickFuneralHome.com.
