Margaret R. Miller, 89, of Latrobe, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, in Greensburg Care Center. Born March 29, 1920, in Unity Township, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Shillinger) Miller. She was a member of St. Vincent Basilica. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward, Frederick and Charles Miller; an infant brother; and a sister, Catherine R. Miller. She is survived by a sister, Mary Ellen McCullough, of Latrobe; a niece, Sharon Nies, of Latrobe, who was her caregiver; as well as several other nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday in St. Vincent Basilica at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery, Latrobe. Contributions may be made in her name to St. Vincent Basilica Parish, 300 Fraser Purchase Road, Latrobe, PA 15650.
