Louise (Holnaider) Whitmire

Louise (Holnaider) Whitmire, 86, of Latrobe, died Saturday, July 9, 2016, at home. Born Nov. 21, 1929, in Latrobe, she was a daughter of the late Bruno and Julia (Watsell) Holnaider. She was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. She was co-owner of Holnaider’s Market with her brother, Vincent. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Whitmire; as well as five brothers and sisters, Rudolph, Kate, Vincent, Mary and Johnny. She is survived by her son, Francis Holnaider, as well as a large family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2016, in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Daniel C. Mahoney, VF, as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Latrobe.
