Leo L. "Randy" Brown

December 9, 1963 — November 3, 2015

Leo L. "Randy" Brown passed quietly in his sleep on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015 in Florida. Randy was extremely well known and loved by everyone. His smile, his laughter and his quick wit made people genuinely love him. Always a story and a joke to tell made Randy who he was...an incredible human being.

After graduating Ligonier Valley High School (Class of 1981), Randy went on to serve his country in the United States Army. After being honorably discharged, Randy went on to work for YUM! Brands for many years until his retirement.

Randy is survived by his Partner of 14 years, Jason Katsoulis of Oakland Park. He is also survived by his mother, Nancy Haase Brown Kerr, of Latrobe, PA; brothers: Russ (Sue) of Scottdale , PA; Jim (Gail), of Ligonier, PA; sisters: Martha Gaydar of Trauger, PA and Myra Brown of Latrobe, PA. Randy is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Brown, and a close friend of many years, Janet Staschak.

A Celebration of Life Visitation was held on Friday, Nov. 6, 2015 from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM, at United Church of Christ Ft. Lauderdale, located at 2501 NE 3oth Street, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33306.

A Wake service took place during the visitation at 8:00 PM, and was officiated by Reverend Joel Slotnick of United Church of Christ Ft. Lauderdale.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at; National MS Society, P.O. Box 4527, New York, NY 10163 in memory of Randy.

Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation was entrusted with the Florida funeral arrangements.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015 at Hope Evangelical Methodist Church, 131 Church St, Youngstown, PA 15696, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Wayne Rhodes Jr. officiating.
