Katheryn Eileen Lightfoot

Katheryn Eileen (Ferrenberg) Lightfoot, 66, of Derry, passed away Monday, Feb. 19, 2024, at Independence Health System - Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  She was born Apr. 24, 1957, in Latrobe, to the late James S. and Rose (Bryant) Ferrenberg.  She was a retired nurses aide having worked for several facilities.  Katheryn enjoyed being a nurses aide and helping people, riding motorcycles and she was also an avid rerun tv and movie watcher.  She was instrumental in helping others through the ups and downs of twelve step programs. A cause near and dear to her heart.  She also enjoyed spending time at church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband, Pat Crusan; and her second husband, Lewis Coratta.  Katheryn is survived by her husband of 19 years, Brian A. Lightfoot; a daughter, Mary Crusan; and three brothers, Dennis, Howard and Donny Ferrenberg.  Family and friends will be received for a memorial gathering from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, at the FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650.
