Jami Patrick White

Jami Patrick White, 58, of Latrobe passed away Friday, May 11, 2018, at UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center) Presbyterian.  Born May 3, 1960, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late David Mavin White and Patricia Anne Carley White.  Jami attended St. Vincent College and was a certified chef. He spent numerous years in the culinary arts and had managed several local restaurants, including the Train Station, the Greentree Marriott and Seven Springs, where he also served as a sous chef. He had managed many local country clubs, and he had worked for Federal Express. He was an operations manager for Contractor Transport.  He was a former member of the Latrobe Elks, where he played many rounds of golf. He was a dedicated Pittsburgh Penguins, Steelers and Pirates fan.  He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Nancy Carol Barkley White; son, Spencer Patrick White; sister, Lew-Anne C. MacArthur; brother, David M. White and his wife, Jo; sister-in-law, Sally Wecksler; six nieces and nephews, Jeanne Romansky, Scott MacArthur, Michael White and his wife, Karen, Jennifer Pancione and her husband, Justin, Jason Wecksler and his wife, Yvette, Falyn Mitchell and her husband, Jeremy, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.  The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, in Frederick Funeral Home Inc., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe.  Memorial contributions in his name can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
