James Walter "Jaymie" Ringdal

James Walter "Jaymie" Ringdal, 58, of Latrobe, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025, in Ligonier, PA. He was born September 5, 1966, in Erie, a son of the late Walter and Eleanor (McConnel) Ringdal. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerrold Blair Ringdal, and his beloved dog Alex. He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his sisters, Judith Ringdal Szilogyi, Joyce Forsythe (Scott), and Jean Ringdal-Jacobs; and his brothers, Jeffrey (Barb) Ringdal and John Ringdal; several nieces, nephews, step siblings and many good friends. Jaymie graduated from Girard High School in 1984 and from Edinboro and Shippensburg Universities. He worked for over 35 years in the human services and behavioral health fields in Somerset and Westmoreland Counties. His purpose was to improve the quality of life for the less fortunate than himself.
