Iva A. Carney

Iva A. (Hawkins) Carney, 65, of Latrobe, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at her home. She was born March 11, 1942, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Walter Hawkins and Mary Reagan Grieser. She was a retired manager for CB Tracey and Associates. She was a member of Greensburg Business and Professional Women and was a former chairperson for various American Heart Association committees. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 44 years, Robert Carney; a daughter, Ruth Limani, of Latrobe; six grandchildren, Alexis, Zach, Sidney and Lucy Raymond and Rachel and Jake Limani; and four brothers, Keith Hawkins, of Pittsburgh, James Hawkins, of Ohio, Allen Hawkins, of New Jersey, and Raymond Hawkins, of New York. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe. Services will be private. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township. The Greensburg Business and Professional Women's Club will conduct a service at 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
