Harold Richard "Dick" Scott, 72, of Youngstown, Pa., died Friday, May 4, 2012, at home. He was born March 5, 1940, in Holbrook, the son of the late Harold Webster Scott and Viola (Sellars) Scott. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a systems analyst by Allegheny Energy. He was a member of Hope Evangelical Methodist Church of Youngstown. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Sue (Bowser) Scott; seven children, Sherry Moore and her husband, George, of Canonsburg, Kim Scott, of Clarks Summit, Jeff Scott, Jamie Scott, of Connellsville, Robert Yeager, of Youngstown, Polly Yeager, of Youngstown, and Kayla Scott, at home; five grandchildren, Megan, Luke, Jeffrey, two special buddies, Vincent and Maddox; and two sisters, Connie Scott, of Houston, Pa., and Donna Scott, of North Canton, Ohio. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Roy Butt officiating. Burial will be in Middle Church Presbyterian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant.
