Fred D. Greene Jr.

Fred D. Greene Jr., 61, of Latrobe (Derry Twp.), passed away Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024 at Independence Health System - Latrobe Hospital. He was born Mar. 24, 1963, in Latrobe, to the late F. Donald and Joanne Louise (Moore) Greene. Fred worked as a maintenance worker for Derry Area School District. He was a member of Kingston Sportsman's Club, the Derry Greek Club and the Derry Rod and Gun club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Tracey Greene; and his girlfriend, Barbara Campbell. Fred is survived by a son, JD Greene (Brittany); two grandchildren, Nicholas James Greene and Syndil Claire Fisher; a brother, Duane Greene and his wife, Sharon; a sister, Terri Williams. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, at the FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650.
