David B. Campbell

David B. Campbell, of Latrobe, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, August 20, 2026.He was the son of the late Paul F. and Thelma (Walters) Campbell. He was preceded in death by his parents, three siblings, and a son-in-law.David is survived by his wife of more than 65 years, Shirley, and their three children, Scott (Gail) of Virginia, Susan of Ohio, and Garth (Patty) of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by two grandsons, Eric (Sarah) of Tennessee and Cullen of Virginia.David was a man of faith and prayer who took great pride in providing for his family. His grandsons were especially important to him, and he enjoyed keeping up with their lives and accomplishments. He was an accomplished gardener, tending an immaculate and abundant garden year after year. At different times in his life, he also enjoyed beekeeping. An avid hunter, David had a lifelong appreciation for nature and enjoyed observing birds and wildlife.Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Unity Chapel, 130 Chapel Lane, Latrobe, PA 15650.
