Celeste Marie Price

Celeste Marie Price, 77, of Latrobe (Unity Twp.), passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Independence Health System - Westmoreland Hospital. She was born April 21, 1949, Pittsburgh, to the late James C. and Dolores T. (Powell) Price. Celeste was an entrepreneur and business owner, having founded and worked the Auto Tag Store at Beatty Crossroads for over 39 years. She enjoyed spending time at her camp, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Apel III, and a brother, James Price. Celeste is survived by two sons, Rober Apel IV (Tisha), and Jason Apel (Lisa); two grandchildren, Sydney and Addison Apel. Family and friends will be received for a memorial gathering from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650.
