Kaye Francis (Bolby) Helman 73, of Latrobe PA departed to meet our Lord on October 3, 2018. She was born November 3, 1944 in Baggaley, PA, the daughter of the late Jacob and Nellie Davis Bolby. She started working as a tailor for Lewis Brothers in the sixties, when they closed their doors, she opened her own tailoring business Kaye’s Tailoring, Latrobe, PA. She maintained her business for over 40 years, until she retired in 2012. She was an active member of Latrobe United Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the ladies guild and helped make quilts for hospitals. She was also a member of the Civic Club, the White Eagles, the Latrobe Business Association and the Latrobe Area Chamber of Commerce. In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by two brothers Max Bolby and Donald C. Bolby and two sisters Sara J. Schmucker and Elizabeth “Betty” Hamilton. She is survived by her three children: Greg A. Helman and his wife Nancy Cipriani of Mt. Lebanon. Karen Siko and her husband Steven of Latrobe, and Ryan L. Helman and his wife Jennifer of Latrobe; three grandchildren Devin, Kaylen, and Austin Siko; and a dear sister Yvonne J. Schmucker of Latrobe; adored aunt of many. Kaye loved to spend time with her grandchildren, her sisters and friends. She enjoyed walking, socializing, bingo, trips to the casino along with attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and functions. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh and her kind-hearted nature. Bubba Kaye will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Frederick Funeral Home, Inc., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650 from 4-8 pm. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Frederick Funeral Home, Inc. at 10:00 am with Pastor Donald W. Graff officiating.
